Wilberforce Project - Caribbean Cookery Day
30 boys, having spent time on art and music projects as part of their studies
of the slave trade, cooked a buffet for their parents and staff using traditional
Caribbean recipes. They eagerly listened to Jocelyn Moecombe, their teacher
for the day before using ingredients that many hadn't heard of, let alone
used. They chose their own combinations of spices and flavours to create their
own versions of these dishes and the success was shown by the fact there was
no food left at the end! Thanks to Mr. Morgan for co-ordinating this most
valuable event.
