Salters' Chemistry Festival 2007

4 boys from year 8, Tom Tibble 8S, Peter Ma 8M, Alex Richards and Jordan Drummond 8B attended the Salters' Chemistry Festival at York University along with Mrs. Leonard in April 2007. They were set forensic problems and solved them using the apparatus provided at the laboratories of the university chemistry department.
So successful were they that the judges commented on their ability to discuss the problem and work as a team and also on their methodical approach. They were awarded second place of thirteen schools, a great achievement. Well done boys.
